The Red Carpet Membership

A loyalty program built for local movie lovers

Built as a speculative loyalty program, this concept includes tiered benefits, clear messaging, and approachable yet elevated copy — with language that evokes both film culture and community pride.

 

The tone had to strike a balance: knowledgeable but never pretentious, and enthusiastic without sounding like a marketing email.

Concept

The Davis Theater is a neighborhood favorite — but like many independent cinemas, it needs loyal patrons to keep the lights on. I created the Red Carpet Membership as a way to bring audiences closer to the theater they already love.

 

The Perks

  • Developed a membership overview with a clear breakdown of benefits.

  • Wrote copy for onboarding materials, including welcome text, FAQs, and tier descriptions.

  • Created taglines, headlines, and in-theater prompts to promote the program.

  • Focused on a friendly, conversational tone grounded in the theater’s voice.

  • Ensured readability and UX clarity for sign-ups across physical and digital touchpoints.
