A Coca-Cola Spec Ad
Movie theater attendance has been declining for years — only 53% of Americans went to a theater in 2025, well below pre-pandemic levels. To bring audiences back, they need a reminder of what the experience is built on: the smell of popcorn, the fizz of a Coke as the trailers roll. This ad highlights that movie nights, like Coca-Cola and popcorn, are the perfect pairing for sharing moments that last.

Strategy
The ad makes its case through a small, relatable moment: Renee and Ana are ready for movie night, until they find an empty popcorn box and an empty soda carton. The pairing that makes movie night what it is — Coca-Cola and popcorn — is missing, and for a second, so is the night.
Then a commercial for the movie theater comes on, and everything clicks. They go instead, and the theater hands them back exactly what the empty kitchen couldn't: the popcorn, the Coca-Cola, the ritual, each other.
That's the pairing this ad is really selling: the whole experience that only comes together when they're both there. Audiences, especially younger generations, are actively craving real-world experiences that feel more meaningful than anything a screen at home can offer.
